Description : Weight reduction is the prime concern for many industries especially the automobile industry. Aluminum alloys form an important group because of its high strength to weight ratio. Similar and dissimilar welds between aluminum alloys are necessary. the fusion welding processes always resulting coarse grains because of its high Thermal conductivity. This in tern result in inferior mechanical properties.
